Below is an email I received this afternoon. I will be speaking with the police department to get more inforamtion that they can share with the public. Two weeks ago, as reported on the news, mutlilated cats were found in the Cahalan Park area of Blossom Valley. Last week, a cat was mutilated just northeast of Cottle Road and Santa Teresa Boulevard.[SAS]

For people that lived in the Santa Teresa area. Just wanted to let you know, the "cat mutilator" as dubbed by the Humane Society, is now targeting that area. They had previously targeting the Almeden Valley area. They have killed over 33 cats in a horrific manner - they return the cat to the owners mutilated.

The killers are looking for houses that keep their garage doors open a crack, & who have food dishes within view. That's how they knew to come back at night to look for cats.

The police think they go around during the day to find the neighborhood they want to target. Then return at dusk or later to kill the cat.
