By the way, we were at the New Bernal Shopping Plaza on Friday night and it was like a "Star Trek" convention over by the water fountain by Jamba Juice and quite a few of the "convention" attendees were riding their skateboards and bikes back and forth on the sidewalk. It was downright intimidating. Our family will be not patronising any of the businesses in the shopping center if it's going to be a hangout for the down and out. The "convention" has moved from the old Lucky Center on Santa Teresa to the New shopping center at Bernal.
