An somewhat obscure but serious issue in our neighborhood is that of early trash and yard waste set-out. Many home owners seem to think it's proper to set their yard waste out on Saturday or Sunday and leave it there all week until it is picked up on Thursday. These folks have turned the streets into waste dumps. It detracts from the appearance of the neighborhood, can create hazzardous conditions and... is against the law. I have observed incidents where piles of yard waste was set out the day after pick up! It's very difficult to understand how these people think. Current regulations allow waste material to be set out only 24 hours before pick up, not 48 hrs, not a few days early and certainly not the weekend before! Perhaps this issue could be addressed as an item on your web site, citing the regulations and consequences for violations.
