NO, The city is already over developed, and way over populated. I was born and raised in San Jose and lived there for 16 years. My mom was also born there and lived there for 44 years. She would always tell me how beautiful it used to be when she was my age (20)."Lots of big farms and orchards." When I look at photos from 30 years ago, It's hard to believe that, that's the same city I grew up in. Actually it's pretty sad, for people my moms age and older, to see their stomping grounds be destroyed. I know that 30 years is quite some time ago, but a lot has changed just in the past 5 to 10 years. I think a lot of people would agree that I'm not over exaggerating. Anyone who loves and respects San Jose, for the right reasons, truely appreciates the "natural", beauty of it.

I highly doubt that anyone, besides big business owners and contracters, like the heavy population. I know the reason for all of the major development was to provide more jobs for people. Who only now needed them because they were put out of business. But it seems that people from everywhere else came and made a mess of our city. Not only was alot of time, money and don't forget rich land wasted, but alot of peoples lives were ruined. The people who invested all of there time into these companies, with high expectations, only to be laid off, IS SAD! All of this change rapid growth made it hard for the San Jose natives to continue to live there because of how expensive it got. Some people sadly can't afford to live there anymore and others just refuse to pay an arm and a leg.

Well anyway, we left San Jose 3 years ago, (just in time I guess.)It's really sad to say that a town that was once beautiful, is now making people just want to move out leaving all of the high prices, and population, heavy traffic, and pollution behind.

Tina.
