Subj: Phantom Phone Ringing|
Has anyone else been noticing phantom phone ringing since getting TCI digital cable installed? See more detail below. We would love to know if anyone else is having this problem. E-mail us at SheffJR@aol.com or enter some feedback on this website. Is that considered appropriate for this site?
We had digital cable installed on TCI's free installation deal during the holidays. Part of the process includes hooking the digital cable box up to the telephone line. At about the same time we started experiencing our phone ringing --- just one single ring at approximately 30 to 90 minute intervals.
We contacted TCI and they came out to check it out last week. They found no cause for this but it is still doing it. We did some trouble shooting of our own, like swapping out phones between the two phone lines in our house, and we are sure it is related to the same line that has the cable hook-up.
