I want to share a recent experience I had planning my son’s fifth birthday party and warn other parents so they do not have to go through the same ordeal.

I reserved a jumpy house from a company called Jump for fun, www.jumpforfun.com. I reserved the jumpy house by phone and was told all I needed was a credit card number to reserve it and have cash on delivery. I was told that everything was confirmed.

The day of the party when Jump for Fun did not arrive on time, I called the local number to find out the status of my order. I was told that I did not have anything confirmed and that I was only on a waiting list. I pleaded with them to help me get something for my son’s party as I was expecting seven five year olds in one and a half hours. Not only did they not show any remorse, but also did little to help me. I finally spoke to a manager who said he would call around to find something and call me back in 30 minutes.

I decided to call another company, Astro Events of San Jose, www.astrojump.com 1-800-244-JUMP. Stan at Astro Events informed me that this was not the first time he had heard of this happening. Stan said he would take care of me and gave me several houses to choose from. His driver was at my house in 45 minutes with a clean, jumpy house and my son’s birthday party was saved!

Please be warned if you order a jumpy house for a party to call at least the day before to confirm and be warned that Jump for Fun is an unethical company. Disappointing young children is no way to run a business. I can not speak highly enough of Astro Events of San Jose and will not hesitate to use them again.
