Subj: public transit issues in South San Jose
From: (Eugene Bradley)

I am the founder of the Santa Clara VTA Riders Union. It is a grassroots based transit advocacy and watchdog group in Silicon Valley. It is not affiliated with the Valley Transportation Authority in any way.

I wish to know the public transit issues currently affecting South San Jose. This information will be used to construct a new portal on our web site which I will build this weekend that deals with various public transit causes. Examples of causes SCVTARU will need your voice on include:

  • a voter-elected VTA Board of Directors
  • a Los Gatos stop for the Highway 17 Express bus service
  • ensuring the inside electronic signs on VTA buses call out all stops and function properly

Thank you for your time. All information will be included in the new web portal, to be named
