Hi Muriel, That was my exact thought when I saw his reply. I think the best thing for you to do is see if the San Jose Animal Care and Services would take this mother and kittens in. The most important reason is that they need to be spayed/neutered so they do not continue to produce more unwanted kittens. Best of Luck to you! 408-578-7297 Animal Care & Services.
