The ceiling in my house has popcorn finish and I believe the house was built in 1978 by Shea Homes in the San Igancio/Curie Dr area.

Are you aware of any presence of asbestos in Shea homes built during that time?

The previous owner has stated that he was not aware of presence of any hazardous material. May be he didn't know.

I am planning to get rid of the finish but wanted to check with others first. Any insight will be appreciated.
