I actually have a question and maybe a gripe!

My husband and I are going through The Window Co. trying to get new windows for our home. We decided to go with Wayne since is work seems to be really good. (We see the neighbors that get windows and we have always admired them.) Wayne has come to our house a few times showing us pictures and estimating on how much windows for our home would be. When we finally decided to go with him, he was very professional and communicated with us all the time. Well, since we have had this contract since the end of July, we have not heard from him more then 1 time. He told us that it would be 6-8 weeks to get our windows installed. We agreed that was fine and signed the contract. Well, 8 weeks came and went. We were calling all the time (maybe even pestering) and no return phone call. When he did finally call us back about two weeks later. He stated that he was really busy and that our windows would be installed that coming Tuesday. So again, we were waiting and the next Tuesday came and went, and still no phone call. That was over two weeks ago, and we have been calling almost everyday ever since and still there has been no phone call back to us. If I would have known that there was a communication problem we would most likely not have gone with him.

I guess that my question is, has this happened to anyone else in the community? If so, what are they or did they do about it? We paid for half of the installation, and we want to make sure that we either get our windows or our money back and we will go somewhere else for them. My husband says that his next call will be the Better Business Bearou. It has been over 12 weeks now and we are getting a little impatient. Any suggestions?
