Subj: Coyote Valley Plan & Power Plant
From: Graciela Blaum

A couple of days ago I sent a letter to the San Jose Mercury News. It might not get published, so I decided to share it with the readers of this website.

Dear Editor,

Regarding the article by Tom Steinbach about the development of Coyote Valley (Opinion: Coyote Valley plan falls short, September 20, 2004) I was surprised that there is no mention of the Calpine Power Plant that is being built there. Personally I would not want to live next to a power plant that is planning to release unchecked pollutants into the air several times a year.
