From: rjime532@aol.com

The Coyote Valley development plans are a hodgpdge of government and private enterprise ventures with very littlt considerations given to the thoughts or opinions of the local community. I noted how quickly the city jumped on the Cisco Plan...more taxes, more development, more commercial ventures, etc.. I also noted how quickly the city scrambled to support the Calbine Power Plan once they knew the State had endorsed it. (This goes to show that the city all along was inclining toward this project...they were just mouthing platitudes when they said they were against it). Now that Cisco is putting on the breakes, the city is scrambling and dodging saying that the project will continue but on a more limitted basis. Cisco will only do what is good for Cisco and to h[xxx] with the community. They have no concern with the environment, the traffic, the congestion, the hazards, the chemicals, and other nasty things that will come out both the Combine and the Cisco Venture. We need to continue to push, shove, yell, and threatenend in order for City hall and their minions hear us. We need to stop these development ventures now and declare that whole southern corridor a green belt that should be preserved evermore.
