We found your flyer about the Power Plant meeting in the gutter on April 14.

Not the best distribution.

We live near the intersection of Santa Teresa and Avenida Espana, close to Martin Murphy school. Much closer to the proposed power plant than you.

This is the first we have heard of this issue.

Please send e-mail for any additional info.

April 15 is not the best date to choose for a meeting, with taxes due.

Will Charlotte Powers be there? Did she set the date?

If you are counting on support from Charlotte, beware that unless she is personally against the power plant she will not be of much help. We tried to enlist her help in closing an illegal drug rehabilitation house (group home) in our neighborhood. She and the zoning enforcement officer basically stone-walled us for more than 6 months. When we finally collected all the information proving that it was against present zoning regulations, they agreed with us and indicated that they haven't bothered to enforce those regulations. Charlotte said she would vote according to the zoning board policy and not the will of the people in her district.

Find out where Charlotte stands.

Is this the Charlotte Power Plant?

Maybe you can detect that from the tone of this mail that we are dissatisfied with our interface with San Jose zoning and government.

Please keep as updated.
