Erin Brokovitch II: The Metcalf Energy Center

The Erin Brokovitch sequel "Erin Brokovitch II: The Metcalf Energy Center" is currently being written with Julia Roberts being considered to revive her oscar winning role as Erin, the former waitress-turns-activist when she discovers The Truth behind assurances fed to the public from the local energy mogul concerning their "showcase plant", now gone awry. In the sequel, Erin continues to be plagued by the horrible nightmares unleased during the grassroots momentum she initiated. The small victory of a few million dollars for those "lucky enough" to have survivored, will never replace the loved ones taken before their time due to cancers caused by unknown leakages and disasters discovered after their destruction is unharnessed.

The sequel begins innocently enough with Erin's desire to create a fresh start by moving to a small suburb of a major metropolitan city in San Jose, California. After years of tormenting nightmares and flashbacks she discovers peaceful daily living in Santa Teresa, where she delights in wafts of garlic carried from "Gilroy, The Garlic Capitol of the World" in the cool morning air. Just as her life appears to be headed for a "lived happily ever after" ending, her worst-nightmare-yet explodes when the quiet little neighborhood she now calls home is rocked with the unscrupulous teaming of big business with deep pockets paired with capricious politicians who reneg on their promises and discard their loyalty to " We, The people" in exchange for a trendier moto of "Just Me".

In this tragedy, over two decades of land-use and environmental planning are discarded like yesterdays garbage with the politicians selling out to the highest bidder. Although it's clear to all involved, politician and energy provider employee that the true facts "go up in smoke", you won't want to miss this true-to-life action film where the energy company's finances spiral out of control at the public's expense, like a deadly epidemic with no antidote in sight.

This sequel is bound to hit closer to home than you think!!!
Guaranteed to release emotions you never knew you had.
See it, think about it, live it.

NOTE: THIS FILM IS NOT YET RATED.
