Subj: Re: Spring Plumes|
From: email@example.com (Paul Burnett)
This morning (6:00 AM, Friday, June 17, 2005) as I drove south on Highway 87 through downtown San Jose, I could clearly see the towering steam plume from the MEC as I crossed 280 in downtown. It appeared to be a lot higher than Tulare Hill, Santa Teresa Hill and the motorcycle park. As I got closer to Highway 85 I could see the ground fog choking the Coyote Valley Pass - I wonder how driving conditions were on Highway 101 just south of Metcalf?
I am on record as predicting tule fog-like conditions under these weather conditions. Looks like I was right.
