Dear Mr. Watson,

I'm writing this letter to share a few reasons with you why we need a Trader Joe store in South San Jose. The ideal and perfect location is Santa Teresa Blvd. & Cottle Road.
This area is a gold mine! We have so many business, wonderful neighborhoods, and beautiful natural landscape surroundings. This stores location would have a very large mountain as an inviting back drop to the store.

We are very close to the 101 freeway and the 85 to Santa Cruz or the 87 Downtown.
This stores location would be so welcome and the community so grateful to have this fine store in our part of the city. We have so many families moving out to this area, they keep building more and more homes and condos. As a matter fact it's quite a busy place but, the people are working class citizens and most all children seem to come from 2 parent families. The reason I know this is my children's friends (who all live in the area) come from great families, their parents have excellent jobs and really are able to achieve and go the extra mile for their kids.

It's wonderful to live in our neighborhood because, (located right behind the old Luckys shopping center) we all help one another with home projects, talk to one another many times through-out the week. We assist each other with child care & carpooling. We encourage one another to hang in there when life gets tough. All the homes are beautifully maintained, and the children in the neighborhood are happy & healthy.

We would truly embrace the Trader Joe store and shop there daily. Since the shopping center has been vacant, I have not seen it take a turn for the worst if anything its made us stronger and we want our voices to be heard. We want to let you know we would love to have your store here. I'm sure this is an important decision for you and your management to make, but fear not I know this community, and this will be a decision you will not regret!
